Currently working as a Senior Technical Advisor at the Institutional Strengthening for Improved Service Delivery Project, Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA with a research topic “Influence of Grass Hedges on Soil Hydraulic Conductivities, Runoff and Soil Erosion in a Small Watershed”. Has published a number of articles in english and Indonesian language and attended international and national seminars.
Field of Interests
He has five years experience in farming systems research and has more than twenty years of research experience in soil and water conservation on upland areas. He used to work with scientists from ACIAR on a project titled Restoration of tsunami salinised agriculture areas of western Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province, Indonesia. His main interests are on the impact of climate change on agriculture productivity, soil and water management, and conservation agriculture.
