Brief Biography

Binoy Goswami holds a Master’s Degree (2005) and a PhD (2013) in Economics from Gauhati University. He is currently a senior assistant professor in the Faculty of Economics, South Asian University (SAU), New Delhi. He has about 15 years of teaching and research experience. One student has been awarded MPhil degree and 5 other students are working on their doctoral thesis under his supervision. He was awarded the Prof. M. J. Manohar Rao Award for the year 2012 for the best paper presented by a young economist during the 49th Annual Conference of The Indian Econometric Society.

Field of Interests

My research interests includes agricultural economics, environmental economics, energy economic and international trade.
