Brief Biography

This is Dr.K.Prabhakar from India and did decorate in Economics. Have more than 15 years of Research, Training & Teaching experience in the area of Good Governance and public policy Analysis. I have been involved in all aspects of good governance, public policy, Service delivery, Monitoring & Evaluation, Rural development Management, Budget Analysis, etc. Have strong research experience in formulating project proposals, planning, conducting research project and designing and implementing appropriate methodologies. Published more than 30 publications. Conducted research & training in some of the developing countries as a Social accountability tools expert.

I have involved in all aspects of various research projects in the fields of good governance, public policy analysis & advocacy, Service delivery assessment, Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation, Rural development Management, Budget Analysis, Agriculture Economics, Health Economics, Public Finance, Participatory Research on Governance decentralization etc. Tested using different Social Accountability Tools in different contexts for different flagship programmes/schemes. Developed a new good governance tool “Tool of Assessing Governance (TAG)” – a supply side governance assessment tool using FMA & SET approach for better service delivery for effective implementation of result oriented government programmes.
