Rose Makaramani, a Thai national, earned B.Ed. (First Class Honor) in Social Studies and M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand; and completed M.Ed. (Educational Technology) and Ph.D. (Curriculum &Instruction) from Texas A&M University, USA. Besides college teaching for more than 30 years, her experience included Dean of Faculty of Education, Chair of Master Degree Program in Teaching Profession, and Head Department of Educational Technology at SSRU. She also served as President of Rajabhat Universities’ Education Deans Consortium, Vice-President of Thailand Education Deans Council, and Committee Member in Educational Profession Development of The Teachers’ Council of Thailand.
Her academic interests include educational technology, teacher education, innovative teaching strategies, ICT in education, project-based learning, citizenship education, and education for sustainable development. She has authored several academic books, articles, research reports. She enjoys traveling, food, and cooking, thus being a columnist in Gourmet and Cuisine Magazine for over 20 years. She’s a writer of both academic and light-hearted matters. Her diverse publications cover more than 500 entries.
